Soprano „S“ cornetto

The Vienna Collection includes a single S-shaped cornetto, SAM 761.

This instrument is a later addition to the collection and many elements about it seem to show that it is not a renaissance instrument but rather a 19th century attempt to build a copy of an old instrument.

Instrument’s length: 592,3 mm.
